About Kristin

kristin200As I was organizing yet another girlfriend’s kitchen, up to my elbows in crock pots and cookie sheets, it struck me -what I was doing was relevant to my future. I wasn’t sure how or what yet, but I could feel something cooking. Fast forward to me channel surfing and running across a show about organizing. That’s when the pieces connected. All the organizing I’d done over the years for friends, family and colleagues, all the bins and organizing systems that I’d drooled over, quality time spent with Ikea and Pier 1 catalogs, all added up to me being a professional organizer. I now had a name for what I’d been passionate about all those years and my decision was made; I was going to be a professional organizer! Since then, I have jumped into organizing whole heartedly. I joined the National Association of Professional Organizers, am an advocate of green organizing and have achieved certification as a “Green Business” by the county of Alameda, California. For those interested in the nuts and bolts, I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design from San Jose State University, where I also studied Interior Design. I have served on the board of the National Association of Productivity and  Organizing Professionals, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. I enjoy incorporating my sense of creativity and aesthetic when organizing.

“I highly recommend Kristin. A true organizing professional and so much more.

We have a multi-generational home that had accumulated a lot of kitchen items over the 50+ years, leading to cluttered countertops. Kristin helped us purge, organize cabinets, and clear all the clutter. She made sure it was a system that worked for our specific needs. She was so respectful of my grandfather and made sure that each member of our family benefitted.

She made the process seamless from the purge to the final touches, even shopping for organizing products and dealing with the various types of disposal, recycling, composting, and donating for us. It made a potentially high-stress process a breeze. On top of all of this, she was very easy to communicate with and adhered to COVID safety protocols. We loved her so much, I asked if she does entire houses!”
