About Kristin

kristin200As I was organizing yet another girlfriend's kitchen, up to my elbows in crock pots and cookie sheets, it struck me -what I was doing was relevant to my future. I wasn't sure how or what yet, but I could feel something cooking.

Fast forward to me channel surfing and running across a show about organizing. That's when the pieces connected. All the organizing I'd done over the years for friends, family and colleagues, all the bins and organizing systems that I'd drooled over, quality time spent with Ikea and Pier 1 catalogs, all added up to me being a professional organizer. I now had a name for what I'd been passionate about all those years and my decision was made; I was going to be a professional organizer!

Since then, I have jumped into organizing whole heartedly. I joined the National Association of Professional Organizers, am an advocate of green organizing and have achieved certification as a "Green Business" by the county of Alameda, California.

For those interested in the nuts and bolts, I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design from San Jose State University, where I also studied Interior Design. I have served on the board of the National Association of Professional Organizers San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. I enjoy incorporating my sense of creativity and aesthetic when organizing.
